How the 14-day trial works
- The trial starts the moment you pick Growth or Pro — every paid feature is unlocked immediately.
- You are not charged during the 14 days. The first charge happens after the trial ends, on your regular Shopify invoice.
- Not convinced? Switch back to Free (or uninstall) before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
Upgrading & downgrading
FitKit uses Shopify's managed billing — the app never sees or stores your payment details.
- In your Shopify admin, open FitKit and go to the Plans page.
- Pick the plan you want. Shopify shows its standard approval screen with the exact price.
- Approve the charge. The plan change takes effect immediately, and Shopify handles the billing adjustment on your invoice.
All billing goes through Shopify. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your Shopify subscription — no separate card on file, no separate invoice. Refund or invoice questions about a Shopify charge follow Shopify's standard billing process; if anything looks wrong, email us and we'll help sort it out.
What happens to my guides if I downgrade?
Short answer: nothing is deleted, ever.
- Everything you built — guides, tables, assignments, customization settings, translations — stays stored in FitKit's database when you downgrade.
- Anything above your new plan's limits simply stops being published to your storefront. For example, on Free only 1 guide can be live: your other guides are unpublished, not erased. Tag/collection/vendor assignments, custom styling and the recommender pause the same way.
- Upgrade again at any time and everything comes back exactly as you left it — nothing to rebuild.
Cancelling
- To stop paying but keep using the basics, downgrade to the Free plan from the Plans page.
- To leave entirely, uninstall FitKit from your Shopify admin. Shopify stops the billing automatically — there is nothing to cancel on our side.
- On uninstall, your store's data is deleted from FitKit's systems, in line with our privacy policy. If you reinstall later, you start fresh.
